What We Do

Southern Mutts is an animal rescue for the Leflore County area. Our mission is to move as many stray “mutts” into loving homes as possible with the help from you! We work together with our local shelters to raise money for medical expense for rescue animals.

We are a non-profit animal rescue located in Greenwood, MS that works with individuals, shelters and larger organizations to find homes for animals in our overpopulated area of the Mississippi Delta. We are huge advocates for spay/neuter programs.

Southern Mutts is not county specific. If an animal is in need, and we have space, we are going to help it.

If we are contacted about an animal that is in need of a dog house, we will deliver one free of charge.
